17.03.2026 | A successful season continues: Club celebrates successes of Kopřiva and Mrva
Yesterday, the National Sports Center in Prostějov hosted a press conference dedicated to the recent achievements of the key players from the TK AGROFERT Prostějov club. The main protagonists were Vít Kopřiva, who is currently enjoying one of the best periods of his career, and the talented junior Maxim Mrva. In addition to the players and their coaches, the press conference was attended by the head of Prostějov tennis, Miroslav Černošek, and the Deputy Mayor of the Statutory City of Prostějov, Miloš Sklenka.

In his opening remarks, Miroslav Černošek highlighted the stability and quality of the Prostějov tennis center: "The successes of both Vít and Maxim confirm that our conceptual work with youth and our support for professional players operate at the highest level. We are proud that our players are building a great reputation not only for the club but for the entire city."

Deputy Mayor Miloš Sklenka added his words of appreciation, confirming that the city of Prostějov is duly proud of its sporting ambassadors and will continue to support the development of sports infrastructure.

Vít Kopřiva evaluated his recent performances, which have moved him up the ATP rankings, and outlined his plans for upcoming tournaments. Maxim Mrva, one of the greatest prospects in Czech tennis, spoke about his transition into the men’s elite and his goals in both the junior and senior categories.
