28.03.2026 | Athlete of the Olomouc Region 2025: Tennis dominated, gala hosted by Roman Šebrle
The ceremonial announcement of the Athlete of the Olomouc Region 2025 took place at the City house Prerov. The gala evening, hosted by Olympic champion Roman Šebrle, was complemented by a musical performance from Lenny.

Tennis had an exceptionally strong presence at the ceremony. In the main individual category, players from TK AGROFERT Prostějov confirmed their dominance, with Jakub Menšík taking first place ahead of Jiří Lehečka. The success of Prostějov tennis was further highlighted by Maxim Mrva’s second-place finish in the junior category.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of sports clubs, prominent public figures, and officials of the Olomoucký kraj. Representatives of TK PLUS, a long-term supporter of sports development and organizer of major sporting events, were also present.

The achievements of the awarded athletes confirm the high quality of the region’s sporting environment and serve as an inspiration for the next generation.
