14.04.2026 | Olomouc Region Culture Awards for 2025 Have Been Officially Presented
On Monday, April 13, the Municipal Theatre in Prostějov hosted a gala evening for the presentation of the Olomouc Region Culture Awards. During this 19th annual edition, ten individuals and projects were honored for their significant contributions to the region’s cultural life over the past year. The evening was hosted by Marek Eben, with musical performances by Radim Schwab and singer-songwriter Pokáč.

Projects closely tied to the host city achieved great success. The popular theatre festival Aplaus won the award for outstanding achievement in the field of theatre. In the music category, the jury recognized the Opera Gala for Prostějovconcert, which brought world-class classical music to a wide audience. The Governor’s Main Award was presented to Rudolf Neuls for organizing the Přerov Jazz Festival, while the Public Choice Award went to Tomáš Vincenec for his publication on the Prostějov brewery.

The original statuettes for the winners were created by artistic blacksmith Christine Habermann von Hoch. The Olomouc Region selected the winners from nearly fifty nominations, confirming the high standard and diversity of the regional cultural scene.
